According to Burnett, it included "obvious" stories such as Noah's Ark, the Exodus, and the birth, death, and resurrection of Jesus.
The opening episode "In the Beginning" of the series premiered to very high ratings, 13.1 US Viewers (millions) according to Nielsen.
